Hey guys,

We all know by now that video is a GREAT way to connect with visitors and customers alike.

In this video I explain step by step how you can make your videos auto redirect to a specific page as soon as your visitor finishes watching it.

This can drive traffic through to a specific site like your blog, an opt in page or an order page for a product. (Or an affiliates product)

Its a simple and powerful technique you should be using. I hope you find it useful!

Awesome video Josh! I have been creating a ton of videos with Camtasia and I never knew this trick was available! That’s pretty amazing. Thanks for teaching this because I will definitely implement it!

Hey Matt,

No worries buddy, glad you liked it!

Its a great option and so easy to implement in most cases.

We put so much work in our sales videos for example to try and get the viewer in a certain frame of mind and eager to take action, its a shame to have to then ask them to type a url into the browser.

Effectively we want to make it as easy as possible for them to take action once they are in that mindset. I think thats probably the most powerful part of this tip.

Hey Josh!

Nice Video! I’ve got a trial of camtasia at the minute, just need to use it a bit more. This is something that I will be using though!

It’s in my goals to get a video of myself out soon! Just waiting till I’ve got a better camera, got one coming next week, then we’ll see how it goes!

Your providing some quality content on here, keep it up man! Can tell things are going to take off for you soon (even more)!!!

  Hosting videos on Amazon is THE way you need to go when you seriously use video for your marketing, ill do a video about this soon and cover it a little in the last video I did. (the 30min one )
  
  It is very affordable and the costs are based on the bandwidth, so for people just starting out its cheap and only gets more expensive as your views and traffic to the videos grow.

Great video – and full of value! This is a very important feature you’re pointing out!

I’m very glad you did – because I’ve only been using Camtasia for a few days myself and haven’t had time to play with it properly yet. I would’ve worked this one out but you’ve saved me time.

Totally agree with you about Camtasia… I don’t know why I didn’t use it before!!! However I was using Camstudio Pro (for Internet Marketers) – and this was the free Camstudio with the redirect after the video ending that you talk about here.

However it’s nowhere near as complete as Camtasia – and I don’t know whether I can go back to Camstudio Pro in all honesty.

However if other people are completely strapped for cash, and need the redirect feature, I can wholeheartedly recommend Camstudio Pro by Dave Guindon… Although it’s not Camtasia (well, technically it’s a very old version of Camtasia), it does the job at a basic level.

Once you’ve used Camtasia though, you won’t be able to go back!

The very first Camtasia video I made after purchasing the software was not very impressive. I even got mad, that I made another bad decision in my online experience. “There was more wasted money” I thought. Clearly I was ignorant.

You have given some great pointers in this video that has boosted my confidence to re-shoot and try again. With your training I am actually improving in my actions and becoming a better marketer.

Josh, have listened to the first parts of the Video Marketing Classroom – wow! What a great offer for anyone wanting to get into Video Marketing. I’ve been doing it for about 6 months now and I already learned a lot from the first two videos.

… and this is all free – very courageous. At the same level as WebVideoUniversity but free – no brainer. I hope you don’t get nailed by a big bill with AWS as I look forward to this training each week.

“Don’t Get it Perfect, Just Get it Online!” I struggle with this so much. Am a perfectionist too but each time I push myself past it, I feel so accomplished.
