Video Marketing, Where do I start?

Well, this video is LONG but it covers some really important points. I was going to break it up into smaller videos but got quite a few comments straight away, so the loong version stays! ;)

I will break up the key points in future and make smaller videos going into depth in each one, for now, watch and enjoy as it covers a few cool points you should know if you are just starting with Video Marketing!

    Hey thanks guys! Yeah it is a LOOOONNG video! I wanted to GIVE value and over deliver, saying that I think I should probably split this up into a series of small videos covering these key points to make it easier to digest!

    I am so thankful for you guys visiting my blog and also for the great comments I have received so far.

    I cant wait to see you back here regularly and also spend alot of time at your blogs too!

    Great video on a hot topic. You probably have enough material here to split into a series, could be a nice giveaway in the future?

    I have not really done much in the way of video myself so need to get up to speed with it quickly – I really don’t want to give the impression of a rabbit caught in the headlights when trying to get my message across!

    I’ve got to say, your presentation style is spot on. I watched the whole thing because it’s a topic I really want to learn all about. I was obviously very interested in what you had to say at the end about your new videos.

    awesome job Josh some great tips . The tip around losing traffic because of the adverts was spot on.
    One question i have is how do you get the videos to automatically go to a site once they finish is this a function in camtasia

    Hey guys, thanks so much for the great comments, I am most certainly going to cut this video down to bite sized videos covering the tips and elaborating on each a little bit. Perhaps 5 or 6 smaller 7 min videos instead.

    I actually planned to do this, posted it up to check how it looked on the blog, went to sleep and woke up to all these comments so I guess it has to stay now! ;)

    Richard buddy, yes there is an option in Camtasia, I will do a quick video on how to do this and post it up tomorrow! Stop by to check it out :)

    Its a great way to automatically funnel people through after the video and can be used for alot of things including affiliate video sales methods.

    Thanks again for everyones comments, ive got LOADS more to post and will be releasing the VideoMarketingClassroom.com a little later this year with around 50 video tutorials on how to do pretty much everything from the basics up to selling successfully with video and viral video techniques etc!

    Ill keep you all posted, in the meantime there will be loads of tips here at the blog for you guys :)

    Hi guys, thanks for such positive feedback, I have to tell the truth and say I am feeling the pressure with this course, so many people have contacted me to tell me they cant wait to get started but its just giving me fuel to make even better content for everyone! I cant wait to see the results people have over the coming months with it!

    Hi Josh,

    Greg Martin at That’s Business sent me a note about you and I have signed up to your “Video Classroom” and I’m just listening to your intro video.

    Coincidentally I had just signed up to ArticleVideoRobot as I do not have a video camera yet (gonna need to buy very cheaply?) which means that – as a freelance writer – I just took a joke I found on the net, wrote a script, took a copy of a repro painting I had by an American artist and welded it all together. I uploaded to a number of video sites, including YouTube, etc.

    I just broke off listening to your video to do a check and was bowled over to find my amateurish first static video in fourth place within hours on the first page of Google for the keywords “unfaithful husband joke” (screen capture attached). I can hardly believe this but it backs up what you are saying so far and I will be listening to everything very carefully indeed.

    I am so grateful that you are doing this free as I have burned a lot of money and, typically, have few funds left just when the real deal comes along! :-)

    I guess a video camera and Camtasia are gonna be essential so I hope I can scrape the funds together.
