It has been over a week now since I last updated my blog and I have ALOT of great posts coming up full of useful content. First of all though I am really excited to announce the winner of the Flip Mino HD Camcorder in the VideoMarketingClassroom.com competition!

I am totally overwhelmed by the amount of entries we have had to the competition. There are SO many people telling me they are excited about the start of the classroom and sharing their biggest questions and challenges. I look forward to answering them all and genuinely helping many of you out with the content that will be available from the launch day. I am working really hard to make sure it is of EXTREME value to all of you and I look forward to seeing you all over there on the 25th of August!

I love the BONUS topic! I got to tell you, that's something I would really love to learn about. It's just very hard to get solid case studies and split testing done (not impossible though) , in regards to video. It not like copy where you can change a word, color, or placement of some text and then split test it… in video you'll have to redo an entire video or do some real editing.
Actually, just thinking about it… AJ doesn't have himself live during videos, it could be just a lot of voice overs. doing it that way, split testing could be easier than I though.
I know the stuff your going to put out is going to be awesome bro.

Thanks for the comments, I will certainly do my best to show you some of the big benefits of video and how to do it properly.
I am making a massive effort to only do any of my videos using free software. I could whack out all the stops and bells and whistles to impress but I want to show people what can be done with ALL free software so people can jump straight in and do most of what they want without having to buy expensive editing programs etc.
Ah, you noticed I looked pretty tired in my video then?
Yeah it has been REALLY hard to select a winner, there were so many great entries so I took quite a while deciding!

Hey Josh ..I didn’t think I had a dog’s chance of winning this competition …but I might have with one that Dean holland is running at the moment on the “Starting with marketing Academy”.

I can’t believe it; I actually won a “Flip Mino HD Camcorder”. I can’t wait until it arrives and I can make some high quality videos. The Mystery prize is also awesome; I had also intended to join your paid section of the site when it arrives as I am really keen to make a go of video marketing, I am struggling at the moment as I want to do different things and use different effects, so this is doubly exciting.
I was actually going to buy a new camcorder over the weekend (as mine is really old and the quality suffers because of that) but I put it off, just on the off chance I actually won.
